What do I need to send first?
For first contact, send your name, best contact, N-number or tail number, aircraft location, and a short description of what is happening. If records, photos, or logbooks are needed, Lima Charlie Aero LLC will request them as the next step.
Do these credentials determine what work can be signed off?
No. Work scope and return-to-service authority depend on the aircraft certification basis, operating limitations, applicable FAA regulations, manufacturer instructions, maintenance records, and the privileges of the certificate/rating involved.
What Rotax engines do you support?
Lima Charlie Aero LLC supports owner intake and maintenance planning for Rotax 9 Series engines including 912, 914, 915 iS, and 916 iS, subject to aircraft documents, applicable Rotax instructions, and certificate privileges.
Can you work on S-LSA aircraft?
S-LSA support depends on the aircraft documents, manufacturer maintenance instructions, applicable regulations, and certificate/rating privileges involved.
Can you perform E-LSA condition inspections?
E-LSA condition inspection support depends on the aircraft operating limitations, category/class, documents, and applicable certificate/rating privileges.
What common Rotax concerns can I submit?
Submit ignition or mag-drop symptoms, ECU or EMS warnings, charging issues, fuel pressure or fuel delivery problems, carb balance concerns, injector concerns, rubber and hose aging, fluid leaks, cooling or oil temperature concerns, gearbox or propeller vibration, and turbo or EMS concerns.
Do you provide mobile support?
Mobile or owner-coordinated support may be considered by appointment depending on location, scope, tools, parts, hangar access, airport rules, weather, and documentation.
Can Lima Charlie Aero support experimental aircraft?
Experimental aircraft support may include document review, maintenance planning, records organization, Rotax or propeller context review, and owner coordination where the aircraft documents and applicable privileges support the requested scope.
Can Lima Charlie Aero help with propeller vibration or prop-balancing-related troubleshooting?
Yes. Support can include propeller and gearbox interaction review, vibration symptom intake, propeller records review, and coordination around prop-balancing or manufacturer support when that is the appropriate next step.
